Jazz base guitar player Jaco Pastorius was once a long time resident of Ft Lauderdsle, dated Banyaon and Fichous tree in the back yard of Pastorius's home where many family and famous guests would hang and enjoy sitting this. Oct 23, 2005, Hurricain Wilma decided to dance her way through the Broward, Dade area and this Tree was one of Wilma's many trees that would fall at her mighty hand. The huge Monster Tree, feel on the home. Rendering the home inhabitably. These very special Whreats and Swags and special counrty warmth to any home. Although Mr.Pastorius is in the heavens, we and I remenber his name through the old tree. I have lived in this area many years and never the history of my own neighborhood.
