This play is about a couple, Daysha and Dedrick, who have been married for a few years and are very much in love with each other. Daysha is an only child who was a little spoiled by her parents and tidbits of the effects have carried over into her marriage. But it’s okay, for the most part, because her husband spoils her too. She doesn’t take life to seriously and in her world, having her way is just the natural order of life. She’s loving, fun and giving, and wants to make her husband happy. Dedrick is his mother’s youngest child and only son. Raised in a home where his mother and father are very strong Christians, Dedrick gave his life to Christ at an early age. In Dedrick’s life, first there is God, then his wife. While Daysha is not spiritually at the same level as her husband in her walk with the Lord, she recognizes that God is real and acknowledges that she loves Him and He is a very present part of her life. Can a relationship survive if the partners are un equally yoked?
